Home and Away's Ocean Pool
The Palm Beach Rock Pool is a 50m lap pool famous for featuring in the popular television show Home and Away. I can’t say I have ever watched it, but I bet my mother in law could tell me all about it.
Sydney’s northernmost ocean pool, it is definitely worth a visit. It is only ten minutes north of it’s nearest neighbour, Whale Beach Rock Pool.

A man made bottom greets your gaze as you cruise along the surface with your goggles; but no lane markings to help keep you on track.
There is a steep ramp for access in one corner and steps halfway along the southern wall.
Hanging on to the chain fence might be a bit of fun for thrill seekers in a big swell.
