Collaroy's Ocean Pool
Collaroy Rock Pool is one of those weird shapes; like a rectangle that’s been pushed out of shape. 7 marked lanes, one that looks like it needs repainting and 50m in length. What a cracking destination to punch out a few laps. A bonus kids pool attached to the southern end.
For those with mobility issues there is a ramp available for entry to the pool and 24 hour access to the disabled toilet with a MLAK key. Accessible parking spaces and all abilities playground nearby. Kids pool alongside the main pool.
Visiting Collaroy 's Rock Pool
Looking out to sea over the eastern wall as the waves splash up between you and the sunrise is spectacular.
4.3kms north you will find the spectacular North Narrabeen Rock Pool, and exactly 4.3kms to the south, Dee Why’s Isa Wye Rock Pool. Lots of these northern beaches ocean pools are 4.3kms apart, and I’m guessing it is simply based on geography, but it sure does seem weird. My half-baked internet research left me with no answers, but it is certainly intriguing.

I haven’t visited Collaroy Rock Pool yet, but look forward to swimming here.
Something about it reminds me of a sharper, geometric version of Bronte Baths.
