Freshwater Rock Pool is your typical light blue-bottomed lap pool complete with lane markings on the bottom. 8 lanes, and the depth is listed as 1.5m. Plenty of space to lay your towel in the sun on the concrete viewing platform alongside the pool’s length.

Visiting Freshwater Ocean Pool
The pool has a ramp in one corner and stairs in another for access.
Usually cleaned on a Wednesday, you can check the cleaning schedule here. If you swim on a Thursday, I’m sure the pool will live up to it’s name.
The pool has a lovely outlook across Freshwater Beach. Surrounded by a concrete path for those who like to do a “lap” around the pool before jumping in to do an actual “lap”.
Not suitable for wheelchair access.
If you feel like doing more than one pool at a time, Freshwater rock Pool is very conveniently located a short distance from South Curl Curl Rock Pool to it’s north, and a bit further (only 3kms) to Queenscliff Rock Pool to the south.

The pool level is accessible via stairs. No wheelchair access. Difficult pram access.

Cold showers available by the pool. No changerooms available to the public.
