Visiting Newport's Rock Pool
Newport Rock Pool is an ocean pool that has such a classic look to it; 50m long, a skinny rectangle with a cool chain link fence around the perimeter.
A concrete structure that stands out from its rocky surrounds. The walk to the pool includes a bit of a beach or rocky crossing depending on how the sand is distributed at the time.
A great spot to visit and take some sultry, early-morning photos. A photographer’s dream on one of those rich-coloured sunrise days.
A short 2kms to the north you can find Bilgola Rock Pool, and just 3.4kms south is Mona Vale Rock Pool with it’s kid’s paddling pool attached.

Electric BBQ facilities located north of the pool towards Newport Surf Club.
