Lots of free street parking in car park on Ewos Parade with a short walk through the park to get to the pool. Lots of free parking-on a weekday-in Winter!

How big is Shelly Beach Rock Pool?
The big pool measures 50m x almost 30m but due to sand build up, the full 50 isn’t swimmable, more like 40ish metres.
There is a ramp for access to the pool, but again, there was a lot of sand towards the pool end of the ramp when I visited.

The pool level is accessible via a ramp.

What are the changeroom and shower facilities like at Shelly Beach Rock Pool?
Cold water open air showers located near the track from the beach just west of the pool.
A cute little changeroom is available with cold water showers outside.
Toilets and showers available at the pavilion which is a twinny for Oak Park Rock Pool pavilion. Also featuring a defibrillator.

He love all rock pools, but it does seem that Shelly has stolen his heart…
Shelly Beach Ocean Pool is part of his daily routine, he visits at least once a day, but sometimes four times a day! He describes his relationship to the pool as a love affair – a deep personal connection with nature.
